It's Retro Sleek For Garage.

Jake Cuenca graces the cover of Garage Magazine for the second time with an old and new attitude.
I like the 1950's inspiration for this cover and I am more than excited to see their take on next year's trends.
"Begin your holiday wardrobe hunt with season essentials in our shopping pages as well as
runway trends in the latest issue. These and more in the holiday special of Garage Magazine!
Grab your copy on December 1!"

Preview Takes It To A Whole New Level.

There are two things that I love about Prevew Magazine's December 2010 issue.
First, the lovely Solenn Heusaff graces its cover.
And second, this will be the first magazine in the Philippines that comes with Augmented Reality technology!
For those who don't know what this awesome technology can do, watch this video demo made by Esquire Magazine.

I can't wait to go to Preview's press con next week with my fellow bloggers. See you all there!

Why I Like Victoria Secret's Angels.

'Cause the angels are fireworks like Katy Perry. I can't wait to watch the show!

Ain't No Other Place.

I love how graphic design studio, Team Manila, shared their take on promoting our beloved Philippines as a tourism destination. So this, I know there have been a lot of controversies about the Department of Tourism's "Pilipinas Kay Ganda" campaign and I believe it is our job to share our creative ideas and design to better the image of our country. There's a Facebook page that has been created for this purpose. I encourage everyone especially my school mates in the School of Design and Arts to partake in this opportunity. Below are the designs that Team Manila presented and a song composed by Carlos Castano that depicts how much Filipinos really love our own country.

I Love Vintage.

I just came home from our Student Council team building at Casa San Pablo.
It was a very cozy place located in Laguna and they have genuine Filipino art pieces
and a lot of cool vintage stuffs such as this beautiful motorcycle.
I want to take this home badly!

A Taste Of UNIQLO.

For those who don't know, UNIQLO is a Japanese casual wear designer, manufacturer and retailer. "UNIQLO provides people everywhere with the piece they need to create their own style. And style comes from within, which is why the UNIQLO logo is nearly invisible, tucked away inside the garment.  This concept, along with an unwavering focus on quality and value, has guided UNIQLO’s actions since the establishment of its first store in 1984 Hiroshima, Japan." I love their basics especially the oxford shirts that they sell for roughly 1800 pesos! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy a lot because all my money went to H&M. Haha! Next time, I shall be prepared.

My 'dates' with H&M are memories that I will never forget.

Did I mention I got broke, yeah?

Here We Go Again.

I woke up in Hong Kong on the last day of our trip. Unlike in Macau, people here live in a very fast-paced lifestyle. I love how every ten seconds you see a very stylish individual walking down the street. You'll find many fashion boutiques and restaurants on Nathan Road and if you're looking for the luxury brands such as Chanel and Louis Vuitton, go to Canton Road. We basically spent our Sunday shopping and I couldn't help but splurge on my favorite brand - H&M. Spending the weekend in China with two of the best people in the world was very memorable. I can't wait to go back again. Carpe diem.
